Solicitor & Director: Mr Nazakat Khan
Mr Nazakat Khan is the Director of the firm and heads our Immigration Department he also deals with Family Law matters.
Mr Khan qualified in the UK as a Solicitor in 2006 but also holds the qualifications of High Court Advocate Rawalpindi Bar, Pakistan and LLB, DPSI in Law and Local Government.
He has been a Solicitor in the UK for over 14 years and deals with all types of immigration cases (including judicial review and bail) and regularly attends court/tribunal hearings. In addition, he also deals with civil litigation and family law matters.
He regularly appears in Court (including immigration upper tribunals) representing Clients and carrying out advocacy with a high success rate. He also has deals with ‘Special Immigration Appeals Commission’ (SIAC) cases involving allegations of terrorism on behalf of individuals.
He was been an associate Solicitor and Partner at a previous UK law firms for a number of years heading the immigration department before eventually opening NK Law Solicitors.
Mr Khan is able to speak fluently in English,Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi & Mirpuri/Potohari.
Consultant Solicitor: Mr Mohammad Raza Javid
Our Mr Mohammad Raza Javid, is an experienced and senior Solicitor (Consultant), having been in the legal profession since 2005 and qualified as a Solicitor in 2010. He has over 15 years of experience in law dealing with property matters and civil litigation including debt recovery.
He is also a visiting lecturer for a number of Universities including BPP and City Law School/ London teaching both the Bar and LLB. He is also an Accredited Mediator.
His breadth of experience has enabled him to deal with broad range of civil matters including personal injury, property law, debt recovery and employment law.
He has worked for both large well-known firms (including top 100) firms in addition to smaller locally based ones and therefore understands how various firms operate with all types of client base. He works with cases very meticulously is a bit of a ‘perfectionist’.
Mr Javid is able to speak fluently in English, Punjabi and Urdu.
Trainee Paralegal/File Handling Assistant- Mr Sharafat Khan
With over 10 years of business management experience, Mr Sharafat’s background enable him to have regular dealing with customers understand the commercial aspect updating with cases.
is in valuable experience of customer care with managing his own business have enabled him to excel in the practice.
He is currently enrolled on paralegal studies whilst working closely with Mr Nazakat Khan on various immigration and family matters. He joined practice in 2018.
Mr Sharafat Khan is able to speak fluently in English, Punjabi, Mirpuri/Potohari , Hindi and Urdu.
Administrator/File Handling Assistant- Mr Ihsan Niazi
He holds multiple disciplinary qualifications and experience including
- BSC Electrical Engineering
- DPSI in Law
- Certificate In Teaching
He has previously served as a home/school liaison officer to facilitate pool the communal requirements in the field of education in Calderdale stop he has also served as a development officer to increase the level of participation in training opposite of ethnic minorities as well as section funds from the Home Office.
Among other positions, Mr.Niazi has been an employment development officer and training coordinator.
Apart from general office duties, he supports senior members of the firm in the areas property and immigration and in assisting in compliance.
Mr Niazi is able to speak fluently in English, Punjabi and Urdu and Hindi.
File Handling Assistant- Aneeq Khan
He is the youngest of the staff members currently due to start his Law Degree.
He has 2 years paralegal experience and assists senior member with file handling including Landlord and Tenant and conveyancing.
He hopes to qualify as a Solicitor after his law studies.
Mr Aneeq Khan is able to speak fluently in English and Mirpuri.
